Welsh for Adults Courses 2008/09
The Centre, which is part of Swansea University’s Department of Adult Continuing Education, was formed in 2006 through the Welsh Assembly Government’s initiative to create six regional centres across Wales to plan and develop excellence in Welsh for Adults provision. The South-West Wales Welsh for Adults Centre serves the counties of Neath Port Talbot, Swansea, Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Through working in partnership with a number of organisations in these counties, the Centre offers a comprehensive programme of courses across the region. There are courses at all levels catering for people who want to start learning Welsh as well as those who wish to improve their Welsh or make further progress in their learning. You will also find a choice of class times and intensity. For 2007/08, for the first time ever, details of all these courses are available together on this website and there is a one-stop-shop that you can contact for information, advice and guidance on all the opportunities to learn Welsh in South-West Wales. Cafodd y Ganolfan, sy’n rhan o Adran Addysg Barhaus Oedolion Prifysgol Abertawe, ei sefydlu yn 2006 o dan gynlluniau Llywodraeth Cynulliad Cymru i greu chwe chanolfan ranbarthol trwy’r wlad i gynllunio a datblygu gwasanaeth dysgu Cymraeg i oedolion o’r radd flaenaf. Mae Canolfan Cymraeg i Oedolion y De-Orllewin yn gwasanaethu siroedd Castell-nedd Port Talbot, Abertawe, Sir Gâr a Sir Benfro. Trwy weithio gyda nifer o bartneriaid yn y siroedd hyn, mae’r Ganolfan yn cynnig rhaglen gynhwysfawr o gyrsiau ar draws y rhanbarth. Mae cyrsiau ar bob lefel – i rai sydd am wella’u Cymraeg yn ogystal ag i bobl sydd am ddechrau dysgu’r iaith. Fe gewch chi ddewis hefyd o ran amser y dosbarthiadau a pha mor aml maen nhw’n cwrdd. Ar gyfer 2007/08, am y tro cyntaf erioed, mae manylion yr holl gyrsiau hyn ar gael gyda’i gilydd ar y wefan hon ac mae un pwynt canolog ble gallwch chi droi am wybodaeth, cyngor ac arweiniad am yr holl gyfleoedd dysgu Cymraeg yn y De-Orllewin.
